May 27: Vinai

Brothers Alessandro and Andrea are having all kinds of success. These Italian EDM guys had a smash hit, 'Raveology,' in 2014. And, more recently, they've collaborated with the legendary David Guetta and Steve Aoki. Vinai will be landing at Sir Teen on Saturday. Expect an energetic night of house beats.

Sat 27 May, 10pm-late. TBD (door); RMB200 (limited presale). Sir Teen, see event listing

May 27: Mullets4Mutts '80s Night @ 8-Bit

Party like it's 1980 at 8-Bit's Mullets4Mutts '80s night. Dress in your best and most glittery '80s outfit and win prizes by Miss Muesli, Culture Yard and Ramo. DJ Kippy and DJ Sake Gin will provide the beats. All proceeds from tickets sales will go to help the pups rescued by Girls4Paws. So, you know, you're partying for a good cause.

Sat May 27 10-late. RMB53. To purchase tickets, click here. 8-Bit, see event listing.

May 28: INTRO Electronic Music Festival

INTRO 2017 Electronic Music Festival Beijing will be held in Grand Epoch City. The annual event, now in its eighth year, is China's longest running and biggest EDM festival. The festival always features electronic musicians and visual artists from both China and abroad. And this year’s no different. INTRO 2017’s techno lineup includes Zadig (France), UVB (France), Virginia (Germany), Nikita (Russia), Wengweng (China) Mickey Zhang (China), Yangbing (China) and Shao (China). Meanwhile, bass artists include DJ Paypal (US), MikeQ (US), Asian Eyez (China) and Shackup (China). This festival is a must for EDM lovers. Admission not only gets you access to the festival, but you can also get into the after party at Lantern for RMB50 (shuttle buses make a convenient stop at Lantern after the festival).

To purchase tickets, click here.

Sun May 28, 2-11pm. RMB280 (presale), RMB380 (on-site, cash only), shuttle buses are available for RMB60. Grand Epoch City, see event listing

May 28-30: YinYang Music Festival

YinYang isn't your average music festival. Apart from live music performances, the festival also includes visual art projections and yoga. Eschewing mainstream dance music, the fourth edition of YinYang – which will be held during the upcoming holiday from May 28-30 – instead features local acts as well as Worakls and four French DJs from Boiler Room. What's more, the festival takes place on a historic section of Huayaguan Great Wall, Tianjin (the border of Beijing).

To purchase tickets, click here.

May 29: Harrison

Yes, this one's on a Monday. But it's OK. Tuesday is a holiday, which means you'll have all day to recover from a late night before heading back to work on Wednesday. Plus, this one is well worth checking out. Harrison, a Canadian hip-hop artist and producer, is known for being a bit of a prodigy. He is, after all, in his early 20s. He's not only a hyper-talented producer but he plays piano, guitar and drums. His funk- and soul-infused sound is truly unique, and it's no surprise the Toronto-based DJ is creating all sorts of buzz in Canada and beyond.  Expect a unique, upbeat and chilled-out vaporwave/futurefunk set from Harrison. BATS x BOXI, Joy Ginger and TSUNAMI will support.

Mon May 29, 10pm-late. RMB80 (advance), RMB100 (door). Modernsky Lab, see event listing.
